I put up this post on my Instagram feed recently:

I didn’t realise I would be tested in this a few hours later and that I would get a supernatural response.

So here’s what happened.

I noticed that one of the front tyres of my car looked flat a few days ago and my neighbor confirmed it as well.

Usually when things like this happen, I get my husband to look into it. Unfortunately this time around he was not in town so I had to find a solution. I went to one of the gas stations to put some air into the tyre but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out if I did it right or not. The tyre kinda looked alright to me but I wasn’t convinced.  I left to pick up Bionic and Prof J at school then drove back home.

The following morning, the tyre definitely looked flat! I stopped by another gas station and tired to put air into the tyre…this time I had to pay for air. I couldn’t figure it out and there was no one around to help. Argh!

By now we were already running late for school and I left feeling anxious.

How on earth am I going to fix this. I can’t keep driving around with a tyre that is loosing air by the minute, what if the tyre bursts and I have an accident…oh God!“.

Bionic and Prof J were reciting their memory verses as they always do but my mind was far away filled with worry. I hardly heard them.

After dropping them off at school, I sat down in my car wondering what to do. This was when I remembered my instagram post and I sent a quick SOS prayer to Abba asking him for a solution.

Almost immediately I felt led to google “free tyre check”. I found a car centre near my house that did it. I was like “wow”- I didn’t know this existed.

With this centre I had to book an appointment to get my tyres checked and the earliest day was the following day. Oh dear! this means I would have to pick the children from school with a flat tyre. I started getting anxious again and asked God to protect us and not get stopped by the police!

A few minutes later just before I reached home, I heard an ad on premier praise radio station (which I listen to regularly) that another car centre was doing free drive in tyre pressure checks! What! for real??!

As soon as I parked my car, I checked to see if the car centre had a branch near me. Lo and behold there was one!

Now this was shocking for a few reasons:

  1. I had never heard this ad on the radio before and I had been listening to premier praise radio for a few weeks now
  2. The ad came on air just when I needed it. God-incidence.

As I drove to the car centre, I sent another pray to Abba asking that there be no queue and that it would be a seamless & easy process . No issues with any of the tyres where I won’t have to pay anything extra. Buying a new tyre was certainly not in my budget.

I got there and there was no queue. All tyres were checked and all adjusted to the correct pressure number. Easy peasy!

I was so dazed! I left, whispering “thank you Abba, thank you for sending me an immediate solution.”

This experience reinforced a few things I already knew but needed to remember:

  1. Abba truly cares about everything-  small, medium, big problems. He cares!
  2. Instead of lamenting, ask Him for help! He is our very present help in times of trouble
  3. When He comes through on the “little” things, it reassures me that He is also working on the “bigger” problems and in due time all will be ok.
  4. Abba loves me!

I am so grateful I live in a country where I can get my tyres checked for free and for the help of the Holy spirit.

I hope my testimony encourages you to call on Abba every time you need help.
